Going to spend time with the parental units today. WHOOHOO! Mom actually seemed in good spirits the other night when I spoke to her. She was laughing and pressing me mercilessly to tell her what I have her for her birthday. (Her birthday was actually last Sunday, but her gift wasn't quite ready...). So, she was persistent, giggly and sounded better than I've heard her sound in a very long time.
I'm still worried, yes, but I have this weird sense of calm now, like everything is going to be alright. I just hope I can trust my intuition.

on 2005-06-05 07:30 pm (UTC)I made her a scrapbook for her b-day called 'Puppy Dog Tails.' She LOVES dogs and this book is filled with pictures, quotes and a bit of twisted humor. She really liked it--she asked me where I found it and was surprised to find out I made it for her. ;-)
