This is what I made tonight for my boss' surprise baby shower tomorrow. I made a birthday cake out of foam core and poster board covered in pink wrapping paper and used yarn ribbon to make the icing. The top lifts off and all the gifts are tucked inside. I thought it was a cute idea, but to throw it together I needed a week to do it right. My measurements were off just enough to make it annoying when fitting the pieces together. I chose the easy way out and instead of doing tiers, I bought some curly ribbon and a little stuffed Pooh bear. Cute concept, but poorly designed; however, not that bad to have been thrown together in two hours.




Here are a few shots of the Halloween goody baskets I put together for the ladies in my department. I thought they were pretty cute, but the pictures do not do them proper justice.
